For our French Cheese Assortment we selected four cheeses with different flavors and textures. It is all you need to start an evening off perfectly. A traditional blue, a creamy soft-ripened, a wedge of earthy flavors and a cheese with Emmental flavors around the holes. All very French, all very delicious. Fourme d'Ambert (8 oz.) - a very old French blue cheese from the Auvergne region. It has a generous blue veining, but is not extremely strong in flavor and aroma. It is a very pleasant blue cheese that you will enjoy. Tomme de Savoie (8 oz.) - made in the Savoie region in the French Alps. A cheese with a rustic appearance and a hard, powdery rind. It has some aroma and the flavor is somewhat sweet with a fudge taste and a citrus tang. Camembert (8.8 oz.) - one of the very traditional French cheese, made in Normandy. Camembert is a small round cheese with a soft, white, bloomy rind and a luxurious ivory paste. It is full-flavored garlicky, mushroomy, and slightly salty, with an underlying flavor of nuts and wood. Madrigal (8 oz.) - This cheese could be characterized as one of the French Emmentals; a sweet and nutty gourmet cheese. We've added some French Mini Toast to complete the Assortment (cheese board not included). You want these cheeses nicely packed in a gift box, please click here. Please note that we will substitute any item that is temporarily out of stock with a similar item of equal or greater value.
